Job summary

Clean Team Inc. is seeking skilled Commercial Floor Care Technicians to service Columbus, OH and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible scheduling across 2nd shift, 3rd shift (overnight), and weekends in both full-time and part-time capacities.

You will perform hard floor care, carpet cleaning, and operate specialized machinery while ensuring safety and quality on diverse commercial sites. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of commercial floor care or specialty janitorial experience.
• Experience operating commercial floor care equipment.
• Knowledge of floor restoration techniques and cleaning procedures.
• Understanding of OSHA/SDS chemical safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Hard Floor Care: stripping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing, burnishing, polishing, and refinishing.
• Carpet Cleaning: extraction, deep cleaning, and spot treatments.
• Equipment Operation: operate auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, and extractors.
• Chemical Handling: prepare and apply floor finishes and stripping chemicals.
• Safety & Setup: set up barriers and signage for a safe environment.
• Project Completion: complete assigned cleaning projects and communicate with supervisors and clients.
• Equipment Care: keep equipment clean and well-maintained.
