Job summary

Clean Team Inc. is seeking skilled Commercial Floor Care Technicians to service Columbus, OH and surrounding areas. The role offers 2nd and 3rd shift options, including weekends, with flexible full-time or part-time hours.

As a Floor Care Technician, you will work in offices, medical facilities, industrial buildings, retail spaces, and campuses, performing specialized maintenance with professional equipment and proven techniques to improve appearance, safety, and longevity of flooring.

Qualifications

• At least one year of commercial floor care or specialty janitorial experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial floor care equipment.
• Knowledge of floor restoration techniques and commercial cleaning procedures.
• Understanding of OSHA/SDS chemical safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, and weekends.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform related physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Hard floor care including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing, burnishing, polishing, and refinishing on various materials.
• Carpet cleaning including extraction and deep cleaning with spot treatments.
• Operate auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, carpet extractors, and other equipment safely.
• Prepare, mix, and apply floor finishes and chemicals per guidelines.
• Set up safety barriers and signage for safe work environments.
• Complete specialty cleaning projects and communicate with supervisors and clients.
• Keep all equipment clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
