ONNIT is seeking a senior finance leader to partner with the CFO in shaping strategic and financial planning. The role emphasizes growth investments, financial modeling, and monthly forecasting, with insights shared across marketing, operations, and analytics to optimize e-commerce profitability and alignment with annual OKRs.

The ideal candidate brings extensive modeling expertise, a track record in high-growth consumer brands, and strong storytelling to influence decisions at the executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA/MS a plus.
• 3-7+ years in finance/accounting in high-growth or CPG/retail environments.
• Advanced modeling skills and ability to translate data into executive narratives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO and cross-functional teams to drive annual plans and growth forecasts.
• Analyze year-to-date performance and historical trends to close gaps.
• Develop performance materials for senior/executive leadership.
• Monitor KPIs and ROI across eCom promotions, innovations, and marketing.
• Own end-to-end forecasting calendar and monthly close processes.

JOB SUMMARY

In partnership with the CFO, lead the Company's strategic and financial planning, focusing on investment for growth decision-making and financial modeling. This includes annual and monthly forecast updates and analysis of actuals vs. plan. Additionally, this role provides insights into cross-functional teams to improve e-commerce growth & profitability while achieving the company's annual financial plan & OKRs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with cross-functional business counterparts to develop annual business plans and analyze year-to-date performance and historical trends; collaborate with responsible parties to develop action plans to close any identified gaps.


• Work cross-functionally with key partners in marketing, operations, and analytics to develop business insights that uncover audience growth levers and opportunities to improve customer value.


• Develop performance management presentations, narratives, and analytical material to be presented to senior and executive management.


• Develop, monitor, and communicate key performance measures that support the company's strategic financial objectives.


• Actively monitor performance against our plan and proactively highlight risks and opportunities.


• Partner with cross-departmental leaders to define and measure ROI and build financial models in key investment areas such as eCom promotions, innovations, and performance marketing.


• Assist in the month-end close process by reviewing accounts for completeness and accuracy.


• Assist in preparing materials for the Parent Company and manage ongoing communications and deadlines.


• Own E2E forecast process across the business, ensuring all functions adhere to the monthly calendar and financials are submitted OTIF to the parent company monthly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS / BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MBA / MS / MA is a plus


• 3-7 years of overall experience in finance and accounting


• Experience in a high-growth company in CPG, branded consumer, or retail


• Expert-level proficiency with MS Office programs and planning tools


• Exceptional modeling skills coupled with compelling storytelling prowess


• Comfortable with being an individual contributor, manager, and everything in between at the same time


• Ability to challenge more senior stakeholders on key strategic and operational decisions


• Seamlessly capable of working and communicating with all levels of the organization within ONNIT and broader Unilever


• A growth mindset backed up by a track record of leveraging past learnings, encouraging new ideas, and smart risk-taking in self and others


• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships to make effective decisions collaboratively
