Beacon Hill, a highly regarded Midwest law firm, seeks a Commercial Finance Associate to join its Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group in Cincinnati. Direct commercial finance experience is preferred but not required; candidates with strong transactional backgrounds may specialize in commercial finance long-term.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Approximately 1+ years of experience in finance, corporate, banking, real estate, or related transactional practice.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Represent borrowers, lenders, and investors in financing transactions.
• Assist with structuring, negotiating, and documenting debt and capital arrangements.
• Draft and review credit agreements, loan documents, security agreements, and related transaction materials.
• Conduct due diligence and support transaction closings.
• Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, real estate, and tax practices.
• Participate in client communications and transaction strategy discussions.
