Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a qualified attorney to support a national commercial finance practice, handling complex transactions for institutional lenders and borrowers. The role emphasizes UCC Article 9 expertise, bankruptcy considerations, and hands-on responsibility within a mentorship-driven environment.

Based in one of multiple office locations, you will engage in drafting, negotiating, and closing secured deals, with exposure to workouts, restructurings, and cross-practice matters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial finance or secured transactions experience.
• Strong working knowledge of UCC Article 9 and bankruptcy code.
• Transactional experience with syndicated or portfolio finance deals.
• Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and analytical skills.
• Active bar license in PA, AZ, or MN depending on office location.
• Experience with workouts, restructuring, M&A, or private equity is a plus.

Location

This role requires an active bar license in the office location selected and a minimum of 3 years of directly relevant commercial finance transactional experience.
