JOB TITLE: Executive Team Lead

JOB TYPE: FLSA Exempt

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage a staff that includes Sr. Account Executives, Account Executives, and Account Managers, responsible for Insurance Programs for assigned clients.
  • Manage a specific book of business, fully responsible and accountable for the management of assigned Producer(s) clients.
  • Maximize Producer revenue generation by relieving non-sales duties.
Customer Satisfaction and Client Retention
  • Manage execution of client milestones and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Conduct meetings to assess and improve customer satisfaction; take on client-facing duties when appropriate.
  • Analyze situations, make proactive decisions, and lead teams accordingly.
Client Consultations/Recommendations
  • Make strategic risk management plan recommendations aligned with clients’ business strategies.
  • Maintain knowledge of carrier/vendor products and services; deliver appropriate recommendations.
Renewal / Account Rounding Process
  • Present performance reports and renewal strategies; manage renewal negotiations.
Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and expand relationships with key client decision makers, often at the C-suite level.
Revenue Generation
  • Manage and monitor revenue levels, working with Producers on negotiation strategies.
Marketing/Sales Activities
  • Represent MMA at industry events and conferences.
Internal Contributions and Leadership
  • Lead the account team, set strategies, provide training, and evaluate performance.
Additional Requirements
  • Position is on an as-needed basis.
  • Licensed: Texas P&C Agent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience preferred; external candidates should have at least 15 years of Sr. Commercial Account experience.
  • CIC & CRM or CPCU preferred; experience can substitute if no designation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills required.
