Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. partners with a well-established commercial drywall contractor seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in New Jersey.

This role focuses on delivering accurate bids for large-scale drywall and metal stud framing projects across healthcare, education, retail, and office sectors. You will estimate scopes for drywall, framing, insulation, and acoustical work, use OST and Quick Bid to prepare bids, and collaborate with GCs, PMs, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial estimating experience in drywall/framing.
• Proficiency in OST and Quick Bid.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with jobs $1M+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate commercial drywall, metal stud framing, insulation, and acoustical scopes
• Use OST and Quick Bid to prepare accurate bids
• Collaborate with GCs, PMs, and internal teams on proposals
• Attend pre-bid meetings and manage bid schedules
