Tiello is seeking a Commercial Building Exteriors / Waterproofing Estimator to join our Houston, TX team. The ideal candidate has 1–5 years experience in commercial waterproofing, building envelope, restoration, or specialty construction and is detail-oriented with a solid grasp of drawings, specs, takeoffs and estimating.

• 1–5 years of construction estimating or related project experience.
• Experience in commercial waterproofing, building envelope, or restoration.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Proficient in quantity takeoffs and developing project pricing.
• Understanding labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Experience with waterproofing and building envelope systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare estimates for commercial waterproofing, building envelope, façade, and restoration projects
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents
• Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs
• Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
• Estimate scopes including waterproofing, coatings, sealants, concrete repair, masonry restoration, façade restoration, and related building envelope systems
• Participate in jobsite visits, pre-bid meetings, and site walks
• Evaluate existing building conditions and identify project requirements
• Obtain and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Prepare proposals, bid packages, exclusions, qualifications, and scope clarifications
• Identify potential scope gaps, project risks, and constructability concerns
• Work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and field teams to ensure accurate project handoffs
• Track bid opportunities, deadlines, addenda, and project requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, building owners, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors
