Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking Commercial Journeyman Electricians to support new construction and tenant improvements across Southern California.

You will install conduit, wire panels, and electrical components on varied commercial projects, reading blueprints and following safety procedures. The role requires at least four years of commercial construction experience, the ability to travel to different sites, and willingness to work third shifts or overnight hours;

Qualificações

• Minimum of four years of experience in commercial construction.
• Ability to commute to various Southern California jobsites.
• Willingness to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, walk, and climb stairs.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in inclement weather.

Responsabilidades

• Install, bend, route, and secure conduit and cabling per project specs.
• Install wiring, raceways, boxes, receptacles, switches, and lighting fixtures in commercial spaces.
• Terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, and distribution systems.
• Wire and troubleshoot control panels, motor controls, and related components.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and perform quality control checks.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and panel schedules to determine installation requirements.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to meet project schedules.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman.

Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services specializing in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services. We are currently seeking Commercial Journeyman Electricians to support new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages of construction throughout Southern California.

Schedule

• Flexibility to work varying schedules is required. The most common schedule is Sunday through Thursday on the night shift, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
• Travel assignments available; include travel time and per diem
• Overtime available but not guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Install, bend, route, and secure conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, RMC, flexible conduit, MC cable, and CAT5/6 cabling, as specified for each project
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, and related commercial electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
• Pull, identify, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
• Install, wire, and troubleshoot control panels, motor controls, and related electrical components
• Troubleshoot electrical installation issues, malfunctions, and quality control test
• Install refrigeration motor control wiring, as applicable; experience preferred
• Properly wire-up Ansul fire suppression systems; experience preferred
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, panel schedules, and construction drawings to determine installation requirements
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete work efficiently and meet project schedules
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas
• Perform additional jobsite duties as assigned by the foreman

Requirements

• A minimum of four years of recent and relevant experience in commercial construction
• Ability to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern California
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather
