Job summary

MV Power Solutions in Denver is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our growing pre-construction team. This role offers hands-on takeoffs, pricing, and vendor quotes, with exposure to the full bid process from drawings to proposal.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of commercial electrical experience, Accubid experience, and are comfortable reading blueprints. You'll work closely with the Chief Estimator and cross-functionally with PMs and field teams to keep bids on track.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial electrical (estimating, PM, or field with strong take-off exposure).
• Accubid experience required; familiarity with Live Count or similar a plus.
• Comfortable reading blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specs for commercial electrical projects.
• Prepare take-offs using Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar.
• Review and compare subcontractor and vendor quotes.
• Support proposal prep, including breakout pricing and value engineering ideas.
• Coordinate with project management and field teams during handoff.
• Communicate with GCs and vendors throughout pre-construction.
