World Oil Environmental Services seeks a Local Commercial Driver for a full-time role in Albuquerque, NM. The Driver will pick up and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous waste to customer sites, operate a CDL vehicle, and maintain safety through pre-trip checks and route planning.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Commercial Class A/B license. Training will cover safe handling of loads, adherence to schedules, and professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Commercial Class A/B license with endorsements preferred.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Manual and automatic transmissions proficient.
• Available to work Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Operates a commercial vehicle safely on a daily basis.
• Plans routes and completes customer service requests efficiently.
• Performs pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Maintains vehicle by fueling and basic maintenance.
• Picks up and delivers hazardous and non-hazardous waste as required.

We are seeking an experienced Local Commercial Driver for aFull-time position in Albuquerque, NM.

Position Summary:

The Driver position is responsible for the pick up and delivery of hazardous waste and/or non-hazardous waste and/or material or other products at various customer locations. The Driver drives to multiple customer job sites to perform various environment services; i.e. picking up used oil, used antifreeze and oily water, and delivery to a Transfer Disposal Storage Facility. The position may also include picking up and delivering full or empty drums or other containers of hazardous waste or non-hazardous waste or material.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates a commercial vehicle in a safe manner on a daily basis.
• Plans a route and completes customer service requests in an efficient manner.
• Completes their pre-trip inspection daily to determine the unit safe to operate.
• Maintains basic vehicle maintenance, including fueling vehicle.
• Drives and pulls into customer site to pump oil or pick up drums in a safe manner.
• Offloads oil into railcar or offload drums into trailers.
• Communicates with customers, supervisors, and other employees effectively.
• Offloads trucks into tank farm

Other Functions:

• Provides professional, respectful, and courteous customer service at all times.
• Completes required annual training via online or a classroom type setting.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Commercial Class A/B Drivers License with all endorsements.
• 1 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle and maintaining a Commercial Class A/B drivers license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50LBS.
• Manual and Automatic Transmission required
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday (available to work on Saturday) 6:00 am - 2:30pm
