Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware is hiring a Commercial Door/Hardware Installer to install and repair doors and hardware on commercial sites, traveling around the Houston area. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for advancement and benefits.

The role requires reading blueprints, handling tools, and applying carpentry knowledge to ensure project success and customer satisfaction onsite.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.
• Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.
• Able to properly care for and use tools of the trade.
• Works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, and arrange materials per blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Install doors and hardware using hand and power tools.
• Ensure accuracy with levels and framing squares; address issues as needed.
