Job summary

Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware in Nashville, TN is hiring a Commercial Door/Hardware Installer to install and repair doors and hardware on commercial sites. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:30pm, with competitive pay and benefits.

You will follow blueprints, use hand and power tools, and coordinate with the project manager to ensure customer satisfaction. Experience in door installation or trim carpentry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret layout instructions.
• Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.
• Works well as part of a team and follows safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Measures, marks, and arranges materials based on blueprints or supervisor directions.
• Uses hand and power tools to securely install doors and hardware on commercial sites.
• Ensures accuracy by checking work with levels and framing squares; addresses issues as needed.
• Adheres to local building and safety codes and coordinates with project manager and onsite contacts.
• Records progress with end-of-day reports and participates in related duties as assigned.
