Job summary

Renewyx LLC in Indianapolis seeks a Commercial Division Manager to lead and grow the local office. You’ll run the office hands-on, coach the project management team, and step into projects when needed while owning new business relationships with architects, owner’s reps and developers.

The role focuses on delivering projects with a $20M+ scope, advancing the pipeline, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development for Indianapolis market and build the project pipeline
• Coach and mentor the Project Manager, Assistant PM, Project Engineer and Superintendent
• Step into live projects to support delivery, safety and quality
• Lead client presentations and project interviews
• Move from PM track toward preconstruction or client-facing business development
• Oversee delivery of commercial projects and ensure quality

Job description

Renewyx is partnering with a commercial general contractor to find a Commercial Division Manager to lead and grow its Indianapolis office.

This is a build-the-business role. You’ll run the office hands-on, coaching the project management team and stepping into projects where needed. You’ll also own new business, meeting architects, owner’s reps and developers and turning those relationships into projects. The financials and forecasting sit with senior leadership, so your time goes to clients and your team.

• Lead business development for the Indianapolis market and build the project pipeline
• Coach and mentor the Project Manager, Assistant PM, Project Engineer and Superintendent
• Step into live projects to support delivery, safety and quality
• Lead client presentations and project interviews
• A background on the project management track, moving into preconstruction or client‑facing business development
• Commercial experience, such as galleries, theaters, community, mixed-use or high-end finishes
• A record of winning new work or growing client accounts
• Projects of $20M or more
• OSHA 30
• $150,000 to $170,000 base salary, depending on experience
