I’m working with an established international consultancy looking to appoint a Commercial Director to lead business growth across the US infrastructure and sustainability advisory market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial leader with a proven track record of winning significant consulting projects, developing senior client relationships and growing successful advisory businesses.

The successful individual will have the opportunity to shape commercial strategy, expand the client portfolio and build a high-performing team within a growing business.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and delivering a commercial growth strategy across the United States
• Identifying new business opportunities and securing significant consulting contracts
• Building and maintaining relationships with senior decision-makers
• Leading proposals, commercial negotiations and client engagement
• Expanding existing accounts and developing new advisory services
• Recruiting, developing and managing high-performing teams
• Overseeing revenue forecasts, profitability and commercial performance
• Supporting the continued growth of the infrastructure and sustainability advisory offering

Experience:

• Proven experience growing a sustainability, infrastructure or consulting and advisory business
• Strong track record of personally winning significant projects and generating new revenue
• Established relationships with senior commercial clients and decision-makers
• Experience developing new markets, service offerings and strategic accounts
• Strong understanding of sustainability advisory, ideally with exposure to sustainable infrastructure
• Previous experience building and leading successful teams
• Excellent commercial, financial management and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities
