What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring contract compliance and performance metrics are met
- Independently evaluate, negotiate, and settle physical damage and total loss claims
- Prepare files for authority review regarding potential Direct Repair Network candidates
- Process payments and resolve claims coverage issues in collaboration with supervisors
- Mentor and train other adjusters in the organization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of physical damage estimating experience
- I-CAR certification or ability to obtain it within the first year of employment
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to manage relationships with vendors
- Proficiency in estimating software and systems
- High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of customer service experience in a virtual insurance environment
