Job Summary

A stable and growing commercial real estate company in Charleston, SC is seeking a Commercial Development Coordinator to support commercial development projects from acquisition through final delivery. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented real estate professional who enjoys site analysis, due diligence, transaction coordination, stakeholder communication, and project execution. The Commercial Development Coordinator will work closely with internal leadership, brokers, consultants, municipalities, contractors, property owners, and other project stakeholders to help keep development initiatives moving forward. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple commercial development projects, including schedules, priorities, milestones, deliverables, and follow-up items.
• Research and evaluate commercial development opportunities, site information, market data, and project feasibility.
• Support commercial real estate transactions, due diligence activities, documentation, and project readiness.
• Review site plans, surveys, development documents, and construction drawings for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, property owners, consultants, municipalities, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and project updates to support planning, communication, and executive decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year.
• Direct hire opportunity.
• For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Coordinate commercial development projects from early-stage opportunity review through delivery support.
• Support due diligence, transaction coordination, site analysis, and project documentation.
• Communicate with brokers, consultants, municipalities, contractors, property owners, and internal leaders.
• Prepare project reports, analyses, presentations, and status updates for leadership review.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate development or a closely related field.
• Working knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, due diligence, and development processes.
• Experience coordinating multiple commercial development projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to review site plans, surveys, development documents, and construction drawings.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting commercial real estate development projects in the Charleston, SC market or a similar growth market.
• Familiarity with municipal coordination, permitting processes, entitlement support, or consultant coordination.
• Experience working with brokers, property owners, contractors, engineers, architects, or other commercial development stakeholders.
