Start Times: Typically 5:45 AM or 6:30 AM (based on project schedule)

About The Role

Planes Moving & Storage is hiring Commercial Data Center Movers to support the installation, relocation, decommissioning, and migration of server racks and equipment within data centers.

What You'll Do

• Load, unload, and move server racks and related equipment
• Assist with rack installations, relocations, and decommissioning projects
• Uncrate, position, and re-crate servers and equipment
• Operate pallet jacks, moving equipment, and hand tools
• Secure equipment and materials using proper safety procedures
• Keep work areas, trailers, and loading docks clean and organized
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Work closely with team members, supervisors, and project leads

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds repeatedly
• Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a background check and drug screen

Preferred Experience

• Moving, warehouse, logistics, construction, or data center experience
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Experience handling technical equipment or server racks

Schedule & Work Environment

• Typical start times are 5:45 AM or 6:30 AM
• Full-time position
• Weekend work is required
• Physical, hands-on work in data centers and customer facilities
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and moving of equipment
• Some outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions
