Job summary

Wheels, LLC seeks a Commercial Credit Analyst to assess the long-term financial viability of prospective clients using fundamental financial analysis and to monitor the current client base through ongoing portfolio review.

You will prepare credit packages, conduct due diligence, and determine approval or decline decisions while collaborating with the sales team to improve risk profiling and drive approvals. Hybrid role with on-site days in Schaumburg, IL or Alpharetta, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance with formal commercial credit training
• 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in a financial context
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, loan/lease documentation, and related regulations
• Proven ability to communicate credit assessments to relationship managers and stakeholders
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Analyze prospective clients using fundamental financial analysis techniques (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) and assess industry and portfolio concentration
• Prepare comprehensive credit packages with detailed cash flow, capital structure, and asset risk analyses for leadership
• Review credit applications for underwriting standards and compliance with company guidelines
• Conduct due diligence and document credit reports with recommendations for approval/denial
• Apply quantitative analysis in risk assessment to balance profitability and risk for the company
• Communicate credit decisions to partners and negotiate to secure approvals
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and develop scalable credit analysis processes
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop financial reporting dashboards
• Monitor existing clients for additional exposure and conduct monthly/quarterly reviews
• Maintain credit files and required financial documentation
• Foster relationships with the sales force to drive quality loan origination
