Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking a Commercial Credit Underwriter II in Dallas, TX to assess the creditworthiness of moderately complex commercial borrowers. You will gather financial data, prepare analyses, and support loan decisions alongside Business/Commercial Bankers.

The role requires solid underwriting experience, proficiency with financial statements, and the ability to communicate findings clearly. Travel to branches may be required, and you will contribute to maintaining credit quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree requirement with related field; or high school diploma with formal credit training/certification.
• Must understand and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, tax returns).
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to branch offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial and credit information to determine creditworthiness for borrowers and guarantors.
• Prepare detailed financial and analytical reports including cash flow analysis and projections.
• Research industry and market information relevant to customers’ lines of business.
• Prepare summaries of analysis for loan relationships and assess repayment sources.
