Job summary

You will support loan relationships, assess cash flow, collateral and repayment sources, and communicate conclusions to bankers and credit officers. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, preparing analytical reports, researching industry trends, monitoring covenant compliance, and assisting in training junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or equivalent (or high school diploma with credit training).
• 5+ years of credit analysis/portfolio management in a commercial lending environment.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements and communicate findings clearly; proficient in Excel and math.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess creditworthiness.
• Prepare financial analysis reports including cash flow and projections.
• Research industry and market information relevant to borrowers.
• Present analytical findings to bankers and credit officers.
• Monitor credit files for covenant compliance and reporting.
• Assist in training Underwriter I and participate in process improvements.
