Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation seeks a Portfolio Manager, Commercial to support its growing Middle Market Commercial Banking team. You will manage a portfolio with the relationship manager, coordinate financials and covenant reviews, and structure complex commercial loan transactions while providing credit recommendations.

The role requires a business/finance/economics/accounting background, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or accounting.
• 4+ years in financial services with banking knowledge and credit experience preferred.
• Bank credit training is a plus, with understanding of credit and risk principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of commercial customers with Relationship Manager.
• Oversee reporting for portfolio management (delinquency, exceptions, etc.).
• Coordinate collection and review of financial statements and covenants.
• Monitor portfolio for risks and coordinate risk mitigation or transfer to Special Assets.
