Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union in El Paso, TX is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to analyze credit information on business borrowers and assess loan risk per policy. You will spread financial statements, review loan requests, and prepare credit memoranda for decision makers.

You will work with Business Services Officers to structure loans, monitor risk, and support loan reviews. A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance and 3–5 years of underwriting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of commercial underwriting or financial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage credit risk on assigned portfolios.
• Spread and analyze financials using Buker's spreading software.
• Complete annual loan reviews per policy using underwriting templates.
• Test and process financial covenants in origination system and evaluate risk.
• Complete analysis and underwriting of new loan requests with cash flow and collateral analysis.
• Collaborate with officers and management to structure loans and negotiate terms.
• Support presentations of new loan requests to the Loan Review Committee.
