Great Southern Bank in Springfield, MO is seeking a Commercial Banking Credit Analyst I to support loan analysis, prepare memorandums, and assist with loan approvals. You will work with Market Manager and Relationship Managers to gather financial data and prepare summaries for prospective and renewing loans.

The role involves researching financial statements, evaluating industry trends, and presenting data at loan committee meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or four years related work experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of additional relevant work experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst.
• Regular use of desktop/laptop computers and specialized software systems.
• Intermediate Excel, and Word Processing; basic PowerPoint experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages.

Responsabilités

• Prepares memorandums and loan approval summaries for prospective and renewing loans in an accurate, logical, and timely manner.
• Researches and analyzes financial statement data, evaluates industry trends, and consults with loan officers, accounting firms, and customers to ensure comprehensive technical review of proposed and existing credit facilities.
• Accompanies Relationship Managers on prospective and existing customer calls to discuss borrowing needs and collect financial data.
• Attends loan committee meetings and is prepared to assist Relationship Managers with presentations of data.
• Assists with department goals including past due loans, technical exceptions, late renewals, and past due borrower financials.
• Prepares reports as requested by the Market Manager, Relationships Managers, and other senior management.
