Peregrine Technologies is hiring a Commercial Counsel to join the legal team. The role supports commercial contracts across the business and advises on corporate, compliance, privacy, IP, and legal operations in partnership with in-house teams. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Contracts, and Marketing to ensure effective, scalable solutions.

Candidates should have a J.D. and 4+ years in commercial/transactional law, with preference for technology transactions or SaaS experience.

Qualifikationen

• J.D. degree and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial/transactional legal work.
• Experience with technology transactions or general commercial contracting (SaaS, licensing, vendor contracts).
• Curiosity to broaden practice across the business and strong commercial judgment.

Aufgaben

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including software, licenses, vendor and data-sharing contracts.
• Provide practical legal advice on IP, data privacy, security, AI, and software licensing.
• Review marketing contracts and related agreements.
• Develop and update playbooks, templates, and policies with Legal Operations.
• Monitor changes in laws affecting Peregrine's business and educate stakeholders.
• Counsel on ad hoc legal, compliance, and operational matters.
