Hatch in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a full-time Legal Counsel to join its Corporate, Commercial & Legal Services team. The role supports Hatch’s engineering, infrastructure, energy, and technology projects across the United States and provides practical commercial and corporate legal advice to project managers, commercial teams, and technical leaders.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (PA license or ability to obtain PA licensure preferred).
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience with a major law firm and/or the in-house legal department of a major corporation.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior counsel in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, including professional services agreements, NDAs, and subcontracts.
• Conduct legal research on U.S. federal, state, and local regulations relevant to capital projects and engineering services.
• Prepare issue summaries, risk assessments, and recommended revisions for project teams.
• Support contract lifecycle activities, including template development, approval workflows, and document management.
• Assist with internal investigations, claim reviews, and dispute matters.

Education
