Job summary

Patch is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Commercial to own Patch’s commercial legal framework and lead a high-visibility, revenue-focused function. You will structure and negotiate complex enterprise agreements at the intersection of software, finance, and climate commodities, partnering with Sales, Supply, and Strategy leadership.

You will design templates, playbooks, and risk controls to scale the business while translating legal risk into business trade-offs for the executive team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of legal experience, with 3+ years in commercial contracting.
• Energetic operator in a fast-paced environment.
• High-agency individual with ownership and strategic foresight.
• Meticulous executor valuing accuracy and repeatability.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial contracting and collaborate with Sales, Supply, Leadership.
• Advise executive team on legal risk trade-offs.
• Design commercial playbooks to streamline contracting workstreams.
• Architect first-of-a-kind templates for environmental commodity market.
• Develop a risk and compliance framework with Finance.
