Job summary

K&D Factory Service is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician (Hot side) to service customers across Pennsylvania. The role involves diagnosing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment, reporting activities via tablet, and delivering excellent customer service with a focus on safety.

Experienced technicians with 2+ years in the field are encouraged to apply. The position offers an on-site role with on-call duties, overtime pay, and a comprehensive benefits package through K&D

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or related industry.
• Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Ability to drive with a safe driving record.
• CFESA certification or manufacturer training is a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass background/drug check.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair issues on commercial equipment.
• Report service activities accurately after every call.
• Provide excellent customer experience and coordinate with internal team members.
• Work on-call schedule with overtime pay.
• Operate and manage company vehicles, tools, and equipment per guidelines.

K&D Factory Service has been servicing the Keystone State since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
• Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines

What You Need to Apply:

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or in a related industry
• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Driving record must align with our safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen
