Job summary

K&D Factory Service seeks a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician (Hot side) to join our Pennsylvania team. This full-time role covers dispatch, diagnosis, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment in restaurants, schools, and hospitals from seven branches including Scranton.

Candidates should have 2+ years in service, knowledge of gas/steam/electrical or mechanical systems, and a valid driving record. We offer competitive pay, on-call overtime, benefits, 401(k), and ongoing CFESA training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or related industry.
• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must align with safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
• Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines

K&D Factory Service has been servicing the Keystone State since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You’ll Do:
