Job summary

Snorkel AI is seeking a Counsel, Commercial to join the Legal team. The role reports to Snorkel’s Associate General Counsel, Commercial and covers drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including vendor and customer agreements, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and related documents.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams, build scalable processes, and contribute to contract templates and negotiation guidelines in a fast‑growing tech company.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3–5 years in‑house commercial or transactional law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation experience across vendor/customer agreements, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs.
• Familiarity with CLM platforms and AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to align legal risk with business objectives.
• Manage high-volume contract workflows and templates to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to contract playbooks, templates, and negotiation guidelines.
• Support AGC, Commercial on ad hoc legal projects as needed.
