Job description

Commercial Construction Superintendent - High-End Hospitality

Prevail Recruiting is representing a respected commercial design-build contractor seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent with direct experience leading high-end hospitality projects.

The client is growing its DFW operations and delivering upscale restaurant and bar projects for established hospitality brands. We're looking for a field leader who understands the detail, finish quality, pace, and coordination these projects demand-from early site work or interior demolition through final inspection and turnover.

High-end restaurant and bar experience is required. Candidates should have led projects for upscale hospitality brands or high-end restaurant chains and be able to speak specifically to their work with premium finishes. General commercial or chain-restaurant experience without comparable high-end finish work will not be a fit.

What You'll Do
  • Lead day-to-day field operations on high-end restaurant, bar, and hospitality construction projects, including ground-up work, tenant improvements, and interior renovations.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, schedules, safety, quality, and site logistics.
  • Maintain schedule and workmanship standards while managing multiple trades on active jobsites.
  • Coordinate restaurant-specific scopes, including kitchen equipment, food-service requirements, MEP systems, specialty lighting, millwork, and finish installations.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to identify conflicts and resolve issues before they affect the project.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and local municipalities.
  • Manage phased or occupied-site work and communicate clearly when construction affects business operations.
  • Maintain an organized, safe jobsite and drive projects through punch list, final inspections, and closeout.
We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience working directly for a general contractor.
  • Direct Superintendent experience on high-end hospitality projects, such as upscale restaurants, high-end restaurant chains, or premium bar concepts.
  • Experience delivering projects with high-quality finishes, such as custom millwork, stone, decorative metals, specialty flooring, premium lighting, and detailed finish packages.
  • Ground-up restaurant or hospitality experience, tenant improvement/build-out experience, or both.
  • Experience leading subcontractors, trades, vendors, schedules, inspections, safety, and quality on active commercial jobsites.
  • Familiarity with restaurant construction coordination, including kitchen equipment and food-service systems.
  • DFW-area experience and familiarity with local subcontractors, municipalities, and construction conditions.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to work on-site throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Candidates with substantial experience in either ground-up hospitality or restaurant/bar tenant improvements are encouraged to apply. Experience in both is a plus.

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Supportive leadership and long-term career growth
  • Opportunity to deliver high-quality hospitality projects across the DFW Metroplex
