Jobot is seeking a Construction Superintendent in Columbia, SC to oversee all stages of construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, staying within budget, and coordinating workers, materials, and equipment with strict adherence to specifications and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in construction supervision, proven experience with hospitals/ churches/retail/educational facilities, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing construction projects and renovations in hospitals, churches, retail spaces, and educational facilities.
• Proficient in construction management and project management software such as PROCORE and Viewpoint.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, project management, and inspection.
• Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control of project deliverables.
• High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record in managing subcontractors.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, estimates, and work plans.
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to less experienced team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
