Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting is seeking an experienced Project Manager for commercial construction in San Jose, CA. You will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating budgets, schedules, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards in a Silicon Valley setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Strong understanding of contracts, plans, specs, scheduling, and cost management.
• Experience coordinating architects, engineers, owners, subcontractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Coordinate stakeholders and project teams to drive progress.
• Review plans, specs, scopes, and contract documents.
• Monitor RFIs, submittals, change orders, PO, and project docs.
• Track costs, commitments, billing, and overall financials.
• Lead regular project meetings and report status, risks, and milestones.
• Negotiate subcontractor/vendor relations and manage issues to protect schedule.
