Job summary

gpac seeks a Senior Project Manager for commercial and multifamily construction in Southeast Michigan, onsite with local travel. Lead major builds from preconstruction through closeout, owning budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of GC PM experience, multifamily/commercial expertise, strong client-facing leadership, and proficiency with Procore. Excellent communication is essential for coordinating owners, architects, engineers, and field teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience in a commercial GC environment.
• Experience with multifamily, commercial, ground-up developments preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and forecasting.
• Strong relationships with trade partners and subcontractors in Southeast Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Direct major projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, cost forecasting, cash flow, and change orders to maximize profitability.
• Partner with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and field staff to deliver on time and within scope.
• Drive value engineering, constructability reviews, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and develop Assistant PMs and Project Engineers.
• Leverage local subcontractor networks to support project delivery and regional growth.
