Job summary

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of GC commercial PM experience, a Construction Management or related degree, and proficiency reading blueprints and using scheduling or CAD tools. Strong leadership and negotiation skills are essential.

• 10+ years of GC commercial construction project management experience
• Degree in Construction Management, civil engineering, or related field
• Ability to read blueprints, understand mechanical/electrical systems, and use scheduling or CAD software
• Strong leadership, budget tracking, negotiation, and risk-management abilities

Responsibilities

• Create realistic project timelines, track milestones, and manage the critical path from pre-construction to closeout
• Oversee project costs, manage subcontractor bids, process pay applications, and prevent budget overages
• Negotiate and draft contracts with general contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers
• Secure necessary local building licenses and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and building codes
• Act as the primary contact for clients, reporting progress updates and resolving site issues immediately

Cleveland Construction is looking to add a Commercial Project Manager to its Mentor, OH location, to serve as the primary project planner for high profile commercial construction projects across the US. This role requires minimal travel to the job sites to drive productivity and accuracy throughout the project.
