Job summary

Cleveland Construction is seeking a Commercial Project Manager in Mentor, OH to serve as the primary project planner for high-profile commercial projects across the US. Minimal travel required to drive productivity and accuracy at sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience as a GC Commercial Construction Project Manager.
• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand mechanical/electrical systems.
• Strong leadership, budget tracking, negotiation, and risk management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create realistic project timelines, track milestones, and manage the critical path from pre-construction to closeout.
• Oversee project costs, manage subcontractor bids, process pay applications, and prevent budget overages.
• Negotiate and draft contracts with general contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
• Secure necessary local building licenses and ensure adherence to safety regulations and codes.
• Act as the primary client contact, reporting progress updates and resolving site issues promptly.
