Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience as a GC Commercial Construction Project Manager.
• Degree in Construction Management, civil engineering, or other related field preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, understand mechanical and electrical systems, and use project scheduling or CAD software.
• Strong leadership, budget tracking, negotiation, and risk-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create realistic project timelines, track milestones, and manage the critical path from pre-construction to closeout.
• Oversee project costs, manage subcontractor bids, process pay applications, and prevent budget overages.
• Negotiate and draft contracts with general contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
• Secure necessary local building licenses and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and building codes.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, reporting progress updates and resolving site issues immediately.
