Job summary

Watts Construction is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Engineer to support project execution from preconstruction through closeout on meaningful commercial builds. You will manage RFIs and submittals, assist in OAC meetings, and coordinate daily with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes organization, proactive problem solving, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork and excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction project engineering.
• Experience leading project coordination across owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track RFIs from initiation through resolution.
• Process and maintain submittals and submittal logs.
• Assist in leading and documenting OAC meetings.
• Support project managers and superintendents with daily project coordination.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communication with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Track procurement items, long lead materials, and schedule impacts.
• Assist with budgeting, change management, and project reporting.
• Help ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and moving forward proactively.
• Required Experience: Commercial construction project engineering experience.
