Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion in Brookline, MA. The role requires ownership of budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships with minimal oversight.

This position may suit an experienced PM or an Assistant PM ready to step up. The right candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial construction, procurement, and project coordination, and will grow toward full project ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial construction budgets and schedules.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and design teams.
• Strong client relationships and proactive issue resolution.
• Understanding of drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, change orders.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead planning, coordination, and execution of commercial projects.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders for accuracy.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, bid reviews, and buyout.
• Track costs, commitments, invoices, and variances.
• Monitor schedules and address delays and scope changes.
• Participate in meetings and communicate progress and risks.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and compliance.
• Maintain organized project records and closeout activities.
