Job summary

Coastal Quality Construction, Inc. in Parma, Ohio, seeks an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, and to develop accurate, competitive estimates that drive successful execution.

This hands-on role requires reading plans, managing budgets, coordinating with internal teams, and delivering projects on time and on budget while upholding CQC quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and estimating with a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or Design‑Build firm.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and bidding documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with On‑Screen Takeoff software preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑starter with the ability to take ownership and follow projects through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-construction through final closeout.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using takeoffs, subcontractor input, and historical cost data.
• Process RFIs, including routing and logging in Foundation Software; process submittals and change orders.
• Support field operations by ordering materials and ensuring timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams including accounting, HR, and operations.
