Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union seeks a seasoned professional to support its Commercial Construction lending activities. You will assist in evaluating construction loan requests, coordinating documentation, funding, and disbursement while ensuring compliance with MACU policies and SBA guidelines.

You will review appraisals, third-party reports, credit analyses, and environmental considerations, and you will train loan officers and staff on required documentation and risk mitigation to help grow

Qualifications

• Four years commercial lending or related experience in a progressive financial setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or related field or an additional 2 years of progressive lending experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the administration of all commercial construction loan requests and files, including review of feasibility, cost to build, debt ratios and third-party reports.
• Oversee loan documentation, funding and disbursement of construction funds; perform property inspections during construction.
• Monitor portfolio health and present issues to management and Loan Committee for decisions.
• Lead and train SBA and commercial loan officers, processors, and underwriters on required construction loan documentation.
