Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator for its Dallas team in Richardson, TX. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, leading takeoffs, and developing bids for multifamily and other commercial projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating in commercial construction, proficiency with ProCore and Onscreen Takeoff, and a Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Competitive salary with bonus opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction (multifamily experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and materials.
• Proven track record of accurate and competitive bid preparation.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid proposals for commercial projects.
• Manage bid solicitations and build strong client relationships.
• Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to ensure accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
• Maintain and update custom spreadsheets and project data.
• Utilize ProCore and Onscreen Takeoff software to complete estimates.
• Deliver timely and accurate bid packages, ensuring consistency and competitiveness.
• Continuously refine estimating processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
