Job summary

CORE Construction in Frisco, Texas is seeking a results-oriented Estimator to join our Texas team. You will support preconstruction services, perform quantity takeoffs, develop cost estimates for commercial projects, and coordinate with owners, architects and the preconstruction and operations teams.

Responsibilities include bid solicitation, value engineering, scheduling input, document control, and research of historical costs to inform project budgets.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in preconstruction or construction operations.
• Experience with commercial construction, engineering, or architecture firms.
• Degree in construction management, architecture or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, schedule, value engineer, manage risk, bid solicitation and subcontractor outreach for multiple projects.
• Assist with document control and meeting minutes for clients and trade partners.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, identify features of work, and research historical cost data.
• Help delineate scopes of work and develop options studies and value engineering.
