Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing is seeking a Construction Estimator for a banking industry construction program in Warren, MI. The role covers reviewing drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, and preparing cost estimates and bids for various project types, with travel to sites as needed.

The candidate will solicit subcontractor bids, level them for scope and pricing, and collaborate with Project Management and Operations teams to support preconstruction and bidding processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating design-build, construction management, and hard bid projects.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, blueprints, plans and specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subs.
• Prepare detailed bids for renovation, remodeling, ground-up, design-build and CM/hard bid projects.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor bids; coordinate with PM and Operations.
