Job Description

As a Project Estimator at KGI Construction Group, you will play a critical role in the success of our diverse portfolio of construction projects, which include single-family homes, townhomes, multifamily apartments, and mixed-use residential-commercial developments. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates, collaborating with project teams, and supporting the pre-construction process to ensure project feasibility and profitability. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction practices, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction cost estimating, preferably with a focus on residential and mixed-use projects.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
4. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Sage Estimating) and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and clients.
8. Certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar are a plus.
