Job summary

J. Thomas Property Services seeks a Commercial Construction Laborer to assist with jobsite preparation, material handling, demolition, cleanup, painting, pressure washing, and related duties.

The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, able to perform physically demanding work, and willing to follow directions from supervisors and crew leaders. This role offers opportunities to gain hands-on construction experience while working alongside experienced team members on commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, carpentry, maintenance, or general labor preferred.
• Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist construction crews with daily jobsite activities.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment.
• Perform light demolition and remove jobsite debris.
• Complete pressure washing, painting, and general cleanup tasks.
• Assist with minor parking lot repairs and property improvement projects.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Work from ladders when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow jobsite safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Perform other general construction and labor duties as assigned.
