Job summary

J. Thomas Property Services is seeking a Commercial Construction Laborer to assist with jobsite preparation, material handling, demolition, cleanup, painting, and general labor duties on commercial projects.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, and able to follow supervisor directions while working with experienced crews. Prior construction or carpentry experience is preferred, and dependable, punctual team players are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, carpentry, maintenance, or general labor experience preferred.
• Basic experience using hand tools and power tools safely.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist construction crews with daily jobsite activities.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment.
• Perform light demolition and remove jobsite debris.
• Complete pressure washing, painting, and general cleanup tasks.
• Assist with minor parking lot repairs and property improvement projects.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Work from ladders when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow jobsite safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Perform other general construction and labor duties as assigned.
