Job summary

Absher Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for commercial construction across Central WA and nearby areas. You will assist senior staff in planning procedures, scheduling, and material needs while supervising field crews on active job sites.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a thorough understanding of means and methods. You will also manage self-performed scopes, monitor costs, and coordinate deliveries to support project profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• High level technical competency across construction means and methods.
• Ability to manage job site, coordinate tools/materials and prevent interference.
• Experience supervising contractors and craft labor crews.
• Ability to develop and maintain site logistics plans with approvals.
• Broad understanding of construction industry functions.
• Initiative, leadership, mentoring and teamwork.
• Excellent relations with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Comfortable with technology and driven to maintain safety and inclusivity.
