Job summary

Municipal District Services, LLC is seeking a skilled inspector to review construction plans, oversee non-residential inspections, and enforce applicable codes and ordinances. The role involves cross-connection inspections, testing, and ensuring proper installation of backflow devices and related infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class C license with a clean MVR, and at least 2 years of inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with a satisfactory MVR.
• Minimum 2 years of experience conducting building or construction inspections.
• Must be able to obtain Customer Service Inspector and Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Licenses within 6 months to continue in this position.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction plans and proposed connections to ensure compliance with state and local codes.
• Coordinates required inspections with builders and contractors.
• Performs sewer line and connection inspections and certifies utility integrity.
• Prepares Notices of Violation as needed to ensure compliance with ordinances.
• Resolves inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
