Job summary

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least five years in journeyman/foreman-level construction across multiple trades, and CID certification within the first year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years of journeyman/foreman-level building, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing installation experience in general construction (certified in more than one primary discipline).
• CID Certification as Combination Inspector required within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications; perform field inspections of building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work.
• Verify quality and compliance with plans, specifications, codes; issue notices of violations as needed.
• Improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and provide technical information within scope of authority.
• Read and interpret policies, procedures, and regulations; maintain and update records and reports for data integrity.
• Respond to inquiries and maintain positive customer relations while following established policies.
